Quantum Theories · Non-Locality · Gathering 6 of 18: The Mystery of Separation

Taught Sunday 25 October. Next, Sunday 1 November: Entanglement begins with Connection & Correlation.

Principle 2 of 6

Why a room

The work holds better in company

You know the pattern. A retreat, a book, a morning that changes something, and then Tuesday arrives and the state slips through your fingers. Alone, the work fades between the big moments.

A room changes that. It is easier to hold a state in company than alone, with people who get it and don’t need it explained. Every Sunday there is somewhere to bring what you noticed, and someone who will notice if you’re gone.

That is what you are paying for here: not a library of videos, but the room around them.

Every Sunday

How a Sunday runs

Ninety minutes, live on Zoom. The same shape every week, a different teaching inside it.

  1. 1. Arrival

    The container

The same words open every gathering. We arrive properly: a breath, a landing, no need to perform.

  2. 2. Teaching

    Received together

A short teaching film on the principle, watched together in a listening room rather than alone at speed.

  3. 3. Circles

    Circles of three

One question, held slowly in small circles. Everyone speaks, everyone is heard.

  4. 4. Harvest

    What surfaced

Each circle brings one insight back to the room. A listening moment, not a Q&A.

  5. 5. Close

    Into the week

We close together, and the Invitation goes with everyone into the week.

Every gathering

What each gathering holds

Still from the Observer Effect teaching film, gathering 1
From the Observer Effect, gathering 1

The teaching film

A short film on the principle, made for the room and watched together.

The lens

The way of looking the gathering opens, so you can keep looking through it.

The breakout question

The one question the circles hold. It tends to follow you home.

The Invitation

A practice to carry through the week. An invitation, never homework.

The WhatsApp thread

A seed to share if you want to: one sentence on what you noticed.

Your portal

Each gathering's film, lens and Invitation, kept in the portal to come back to.

The rhythm of a principle

Three gatherings with each principle

  1. 1

    The lens

What the principle is, and the way of seeing it opens.

  2. 2

    In life and business

The lens carried into your days and into what you’re building.

  3. 3

    The mystery

What is still unknown, sat with honestly rather than tidied away.

These are the first series, not the complete set. The principles here are a starting point: there is more depth in each one, and more themes still to come as the Salon keeps going.

Who holds the room

Laura’s vision, Roy’s build

The Salon was Laura Vaillancourt’s vision: a place to do the inner work in good company. Laura convenes the room and curates each principle. Roy Castleman built the foundation that made it real, and makes the teaching films.

Questions

Do I need to be on camera?

No one is made to perform. Come as you are; the circles work best when you can speak, but listening is welcome too.

What if I miss a Sunday?

The gathering's film, lens and Invitation are in your portal, so you can walk it in your own time and rejoin the room the next Sunday.

How is this different from buying the courses?

The Salon is the room: the live Sundays, the circles and the people. Every course is included while you're a member. A course you buy on its own is yours to keep, but it comes without the room.

Is this connected to a particular teacher's programme?

No. This is a community of practitioners with its own curriculum. Many of us came to the inner work through different teachers, and we're glad to share the room.

What happens when I cancel?

Cancel any time from your account. Your access runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and any course you bought separately stays yours.

“You do not need to perform. You are here, and that is enough.”
